    Fashion tips for tall women

    1. First and foremost, be confident in your height: look at Isobel Pooley and her sister, who are 6ft 3 and 6ft 5 and who are confident in their height.  You can use your height to your advantage, as athletes like Isobel do.  Remember cat walk models tend to be more than 5ft 10!  Happy confident people are attractive whatever their height.
    2. Learn to walk well and don’t slouch. Walk down the street with your head held high and embrace your height.
    3. Don’t dismiss the high street when looking for shoes. For Isobel’s photo shoot I found great fashion shoes in size 9 and 10 with Nine West at Debenhams and in TK Maxx.  You just have to look around and ask.  I also recommend online sites such as www.katielongshoes.co.uk or www.prettybigfeet.co.uk
    4. The same goes for dresses: if you have beautiful toned, long legs, shop on the high street. Yes the dresses will be shorter on you, but think how everyone will envy those beautiful legs!  In the summer with a tan, wear dresses with bare legs and amazing sandals. Find a bright colour that suits you and make a bold choice.  I found Isobel a lovely purple lace dress from Matalan for her recent photoshoot.
    5. Get your colours done and learn how to use them to your advantage, it makes all the difference as Isobel would tell you.
6.Try choosing kitten heels if you are not quite confident enough yet to wear the skyscraper heels that Isobel wears in the photos.
    7.  Use bold wide belts at your waist to keep you in proportion.
    8. V necklines flatter the wider shoulder line beautifully.
    9. Tall women often look great in skinny jeans, but if they’re not your thing, you can wear wide leg flares or palazzo pants to perfection.
    10. Most of all try to be confident in your own skin and celebrate your natural height, because confidence is beautiful.
